Harm Reduction Services: Bringing Change, Saving Lives and Empowering People

Welcome to Harm Reduction Resources at Reduce Harm Inc! Our commitment to the harm reduction movement spans over 30 years, working tirelessly to uplift the voices and experiences of people who use drugs. Our founders have over 100 years of collective Harm Reduction experience working directly with the community. Through evidence-based strategies, we bring harm reduction initiatives to scale, supporting communities impacted by HIV, hepatitis C, Overdose, and the drug war. Here is a glimpse of what we offer:

Overdose Prevention

Our nationwide efforts focus on Naloxone distribution and fentanyl testing, crucial tools in preventing overdose-related fatalities. We strive to ensure that these life-saving resources are accessible coast to coast.

Syringe Access Implementation:

We actively promote sterile syringe access to all, reducing the risks associated with drug use. Our initiatives create a safer environment for individuals while fostering a sense of community. We offer sterile syringes to BIPOC led organizations that are either underfunder or experiencing funding gaps.

Training & Capacity Building:

Through our extensive training programs, we equip community-based organizations with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement harm reduction strategies effectively. Thriving harm reduction organizations are at the core of our mission.

Policy & Advocacy:

Advocating for equal access to healthcare and human services is central to our work. We influence policy changes that improve the lives of people who use drugs and marginalized communities.

Conference & Events:

National, regional, and local convenings are at the heart of fostering dialogue and advocating for change. We bring together diverse voices and communities to collectively build the harm reduction movement.

FIND NALOXONE NEAR YOU

The Naloxone Finder is intended for people who use drugs to access naloxone in their community.

While many of the programs listed offer additional harm reduction supplies (e.g. syringes, safer smoking kits, drop-in centers), our team has vetted the programs for community-based naloxone that is free and intended for people who use drugs.

We will update this map on a bi-monthly basis and have included space for programs to update their information regarding specific requirements or changes due to COVID-19.
